Originally founded in 1967 by Ron Thompson, Swimming Pool Services’ mission was to “make it easy for people to enjoy a pool in their backyard.” Over the years, our mission evolved after realizing that there was no one who was making it easy for clients to complete the remainder of their project. Most builders will construct the pool but leave the homeowners to act as their general contractor to finish the rest of their project. From then on, we were determined to become a one-stop shop, so we could handle a client’s project from design to completion, and beyond. Thus, our mission became, “We make it easy for you to have a private paradise in your backyard.”
We offer a turnkey package, and over the years, we’ve brought even more of what we offer in-house, as opposed to using outside contractors. We want to have control over the quality of the work, timing, pricing, and ensure everything is done to our standards.
Therefore, we can do most projects entirely in-house.
We perform a lot of design and custom installation work. Whether it involves a custom sundeck, grotto, fire features, or custom slide – if there’s something in the pool industry that people want, we’ve probably done it, and we’d be happy to incorporate it into any project. We not only want to make it easy for you to have a pool installed, but also the ownership of it for the life of that pool. Beyond custom vinyl liner in-ground pools, we have also been a pioneer in building hot tubs and masonry vaults in this area for the last 25 years.
At Swimming Pool Services, we have an extensive design process we follow before we break ground to ensure you will love the result. This includes using 3D modeling to have a clear and fun way for our clients to see what their backyard paradise could look like. After the design is done, we make material selections and then complete the final paperwork for the project. We then complete the remaining 17 steps of our proven process for your project. The result has been award-winning projects for the past 57 years.
Many people want to ask the question “When can you start?”, but for us, that’s not as important as “How long will the process take?” Without people understanding the whole process from start to finish, it is easy to get hung up on some of the schedule details between phases.
It is always our goal to try to finish projects within a timeframe of six to eight weeks. In an ideal world, that’s what we would love to happen. But completion depends on the scope of the project, job site, customized features, and weather conditions.
We offer a steel structure with a lightweight concrete floor underneath our vinyl liner solution. Vinyl liner pools can be built in any shape and handle ground movement the best, due to the structure being able to flex. This majorly decreases the probability of a major structural failure or cosmetic issue from that movement.
