Retreat in the woods

Retreat in the woods

This client has a beautiful property in the woods- very private with the feel of the Northwoods. The only thing missing was a space to entertain outdoors. The existing wraparound porch on the house and covered patio along the barn would provide protected seating space and we just needed to tie the two spaces together and provide the focal point. It was important for the pool to have a sundeck and a large patio for enjoying the sun. It was also very important to the client that the pool blend flow well with the existing structures and feel like it was always there. Drainage/ elevation change on the site would require a retaining wall and deck drains to make everything work well.

The lifespan of a vinyl pool liner typically ranges between 7 to 15 years, depending on various factors such as chemical balance of the pool water, sun exposure, usage, and the level of care and maintenance it receives.
